Founded under the noble endeavour of Shree Kshetrabasi Pradhan, KTI has grown into one of Odisha's most respected vocational training institutes.
Kshetrabasi Technical Institute (KTI) is a leading institute situated at Fakirpada on the Cuttack–Paradeep road, approximately 10 km from O.M.P. Square, Cuttack. The institute is duly affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (SCTE&VT) under DGE&T, Ministry of Labour, Government of India, vide Letter No. 12/1/99TC dated 25.06.1999, with effect from August 1998.
KTI is equipped with well-modernised workshops furnished with state-of-the-art machines and equipment as per NIMIS syllabus and norms of SCTE&VT. The institute takes pride in its distinguished academic track record, with multiple years of 100% pass results in All India Trade Test examinations.
A souvenir titled "The Kshetrayana" is published annually to showcase the literary and creative talents of staff and trainees. Library, medical, and hostel facilities are promptly provided to all trainees.

Admissions are purely merit-based as per government norms and reservation policy. HSC pass (10+2) or 8th pass for select trades.
Post-matric: ₹37,000 total. Concessions available for meritorious & needy students at the discretion of the Chairman.
Eligible candidates aged 14–40 as on 1st August of the admission year. Government reservations strictly followed.
